The Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park is one of 14 Heritage Sites administered by the National Trust of Fiji. It is Fiji’s first National Park, established in 1987 to protect its unique natural and cultural heritage and is located at the mouth of the Sigatoka River. The Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park is one of the most important archaeological sites in Fiji and the Pacific. You can explore this scenic and unique ecosystem on your own or request a guided tour from the rangers at the Visitor Information Centre. The very knowledgeable rangers can provide you with an informative introduction to the Park and how to navigate its walking tracks. The park is open daily from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
