Fascinating Fiji Orchids, Ancient Traditions and Warm Hearted People - this diverse half-day tour offers you an exciting insight into the culture and everyday life of the Fijians.
Begin your day at the 'Garden of the Sleeping Giant', a haven of two thousand different varieties of orchids - arguably the largest collection of orchids in the South Pacific. Naturally cultivated with greenery and enchanting lilly ponds over 20 hectares of attractive landscape, this exquisite gem of nature is breathtaking. Our next stop is to the north of Nadi Bay at 'Viseisei' village which is believed to be the first Fijian village.  It is believed to have been settled around 3000 years ago by the fierce and powerful Fijian chief, Lutunasobasoba and his clansmen. Before returning to your resort, stopover at Nadi Town fruit and vegetable market or visit the 'Subramaniya Temple' situated at the end of town, for a closer look at Indian traditional architecture. Don't forget to pop in at any of the handicraft shops for a souvenir to take back home.
