Rivers Fiji Ltd was established in 1997 to foster the importance of our ecosystem and the environment and also to empower resource owners by giving them a choice to conserve and preserve their natural resources whilst at the same time earn them something in return from tourism. From it's very humble beginnings, Rivers Fiji Ltd. was able to work in partnership with the landowners, government and non governmental organizations in raising awareness of the importance our conserving our environment and maintaining a balance in the ecosystem.

Our major success story is the Upper Navua Conservation Area which we were able to gain custodianship of from the landowners by way of lease so as to try and maintain the natural flora and fauna of the land. In 2006, this conservation area was nominated by government to the International Ramsar Committee and thus was the first and still the only recognized Wetland of great importance in the country.

Over the years, Rivers Fiji Ltd has had some success in the AON Toursim Awards as we were mainly recognized for Conservation Tourism and also Adventure Tourism. In 2010, we were nominated to the PM's Exporter of the Year Award and managed to win the Tourism Services Exporter of the Year Award.

We have qualified and certified guides who will not only make your trip enjoyable but they will also take you on a journey back in time as they recount tales and historical significance about their ancestral existence. We are also committed to provide the best service we can possibly can to ensure a most memorable and unforgetable experience for our guests.
