Volunteering with International Volunteer HQ (IVHQ) provides you with an immersive and authentic travel experience while enjoying the wonders of Fiji. IVHQ volunteers in Fiji support community projects in the areas of education, childcare, sports and construction.
IVHQ was established in 2007 and has since grown to become the world’s leading volunteer travel organisation, providing affordable, safe and responsible volunteer programs in Fiji and in over 35 countries worldwide.

IVHQ volunteer programs in the Suva region are based at rural schools which lack the funding for adequate staff numbers and infrastructure to nurture their enthusiastic and active youth. The energy and assistance of volunteers is invaluable to the development of the students and volunteers can assist on projects in Teaching and Sports Education, Kindergarten, Construction and Renovation, and Childcare and Community Development. Fiji Volunteer Orientation

Volunteers on all IVHQ volunteer programs participate in an orientation which is hosted by our Fiji team in Suva. Orientation begins on the first day of your volunteer program and runs for the first five days. Orientation covers everything you need to know for your volunteer program and your visit to Fiji. Included in the orientation is an introduction to Fiji, it's culture and customs, program rules and expectations, safety, volunteer weekend travel opportunities and the last two days of orientation include an introduction to the volunteer project and placement. Orientation is the perfect opportunity to get to know and meet other volunteers and swap contact details for weekend travel and socializing.

Fiji Volunteer Meals & Accommodation
